Lettie Teague is a wine columnist at The Wall Street Journal. She was the wine columnist (“Wine Matters”) and wine editor at Food & Wine magazine for 12 years. She is the author of Educating Peter (Scribner’s) and the co-author of Fear of Wine (Bantam). She has won two James Beard Awards, including the MFK Fisher Distinguished Writing Award,  and her work can be found in the 2009 Best Food Writing Guide (DaCapo Press). She lives (mostly) on the North Fork of Long Island and makes a great roast chicken, loves most wines of the world except Pinotage. She has never had a good Pinotage.
